My name is Cameron Dobey, I was born here in Farmington, and I grew up in Aztec. I got my start in photography back in 2017. My dad had taken me to work with him at a zip-line company in Durango, CO. At the time they were looking for a photographer so they passed me a camera. After awhile I figured if I could capture people flying down zip-lines, capturing photos of them standing still couldn’t be too hard. So in my first semester of college back in 2019 I decided to buy my own camera and picked up a Canon EOS T7 starters kit off of amazon.

Little did I know just how much went into photography, so I decided to switch majors from BA and pursue Digital Media Arts. As time passed I grew out of my T7, and a good friend of mine offered me her Canon 5D Mark III, which I still use today.
